However, if you just need to get around town for a day or two, you’ll find taxi service, bus lines, and streetcars are your best option.
Many visitors arrive here via the San Antonio International Airport. And, if you don’t have plans to go out of the city, you won’t even need a rental car. But, if do plan to visit The Alamo, a rental car or private car is the best way to get there. If you do arrive at San Antonio International Airport, you won’t have any trouble finding a cab to take you downtown. Once there though, that changes.
