Cave Without A Name

Things to do in San Antonio

Hi! This is Karin Rause sitting in for our fearless leader, Missy Stagers. My husband Craig and I are not from Texas, so we like to venture out and visit some of the great sights surrounding the San Antonio area. Not long ago, Craig’s sister was visiting us so we took her out on a short day trip around the Boerne area. Now, Texas has 1,000’s of caves and caverns.  One of the more well-known caves is the Natural Bridge Caverns located just outside of Bexar County. We found that Boerne has a local cave as well called the Cave Without a Name.

This cave has a balmy year round temperature of 66 degrees and beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations throughout. You will also see little villages, amazing ‘bacon’ and a few ‘sunny side eggs’. Even some ice cream. The pools are crystal clear and we are told can go miles further than we have access to. In addition to tours, there are regular music performances in the ‘Throne Room’ of the cave. The acoustics make the musical concerts amazing and memorable.

So, if you are new to the area, or have been here all your life, you should take a short day trip and check out Trip Advisor’s #1 sight to see in Boerne, The Cave Without a Name. Click on the links below for more information on this cave and information about others in this great state. Come back to mstagersrealtypartners.com soon for more information about the local area!
